Each June, we honor a regional leader, affiliated with the Institute, who represents the creative, adaptive leadership so needed by our times. In 2008, outgoing WI Board member, Diana Gale, was the featured speaker. Diana is the former Director of Seattle Public Utilities and the City of Seattle Office of Management and Budget. Currently she is a member of the Leadership Council of the Puget Sound Partnership, appointed by Governor Gregoire. Diana has received numerous national and local awards for outstanding civic leadership.
